The best Indian restaurant in Hamburg! The food is delicious and the staff helpful and friendly. The samosas are awesome!

Finally great food from India, I can hardly wait when the lock-down is finally over and I can sit down here. The concept of the store has been well thought out - unfortunately only take away at the moment. I had a curry with lamb and a salad with chicken. The order was very quick and friendly. The curry tasted great, plus a huge portion. I can still eat from it tomorrow. The salad was very fresh and with a great dressing. Here is the only suggestion for improvement: I would serve the dressing separately with the salad, especially towards the end the dressing was missing in the salad that was already on. The onions and cucumbers were cut a little too coarsely to my taste, a little finer and using a more original cutting technique would significantly enhance the salad. The chicken with the salad was very, really very rich - a whole chicken breast side. Breast always has the disadvantage that it gets very dry, my suggestion would be to simply use leg pieces. The salad still has some room for improvement, with a little imagination and skill, definitely possible. A great restaurant with delicious food and very friendly service.

Very!! delicious, super friendly and hard-working staff some dishes are very spicy but still have a great taste. On request, the dishes can also be prepared milder.

Three of us went to dinner in October. It was a total disaster, from the service to the kitchen. The innkeepers didn't know much about the dishes and often had to consult with the kitchen. It was very chaotic and the food was nowhere near spicy, everything was very bland. There are enough better alternatives in Hamburg!

A great restaurant, with incredibly delicious food and nice staff! You can dine in a great atmosphere and at fair prices! Always happy to come back!

Delicious meal. Staff seemed a bit lost. But we were there right after it opened. In any case, everyone was very friendly.

A few weeks ago I was eating at Svaadish and I am convinced. Will definitely come again. Service tried very hard so I can't understand the negative comments about the service - as always in life, as one screams into the forest ... so it echoes out. 😉 nothing to complain about and I'll be back for sure!

Expensive, small portion, Corona intervals were not really implemented, many people in a small space, were quickly outside again. The staff is very friendly 😊 therefore 3 stars

I went there 2-3 times. Staff members are really well behaved and really cooperative. Specially waitresses. Food is really delicious. I enjoyed it alot. I recommend it for all.

The food is very tasty and the wine tasted and tasted (Riesling). You can tell, however, that the team and the processes are not yet running optimally. Overall, there is a lack of a more relaxed atmosphere and a more relaxed atmosphere.

Delicious food and great service. The decko and dish selection went well with the motto. I think the portions are sufficient and the prices are really cheap. We are definitely looking forward to our next visit.

Indian is something different. We liked it very much. Very friendly staff. Unfortunately the wine (gray Burgundy) didn't taste that good. It should be dry, but it wasn't at all. Still worth a visit.

Were there on Friday evening. Very friendly, courteous staff, the orders went smoothly. The food is delicious, the portions great, and the wine is good too. We would love to come back!

I‘ve never been this disappointed by the service. Food was delicious but then we were asked to leave our reserved table so new guests could come in. We had to sit in a lounge which was fully packed and definitely not fulfilling the social distancing and COVID 19 rules. The waitress completely forgot our orders for the dessert and we left upset and disappointed. Satisfy your customers first and then let new ones in. Not going to visit again.

The staff is friendly. The food is good, especially taking into account the affordable prices. The place is nice and new, but they did not pay attention to details.

Food is Not anywhere close to indian street food. They are just fooling people in the name indian food. We went for lunch on a sunday and rest of the day was spoilt, Just a good presentation, but don’t expect anything.

The restaurant was busy and loud, so authentic as far as it goes. Unfortunately, that didn't continue with the food, it was good and the portions were right, but you can get that much better in Hamburg. The furnishings are modern and attractive, but the synthetic leather sofas, for example, were uncomfortable after long periods of sitting. The service wasn't good at all. Food came individually, sometimes put on the table without comment or only on request. Calling a service person to order drinks or the bill was exhausting and took forever.

This restaurant always seems to get inconsistent reviews for some reason however always had consistently good service and food The service is efficient and unobtrusive and the menu offers great Indian cuisine. All the food is always hot, flavoursome and fresh as well as being very reasonably priced. Drinks are equally well priced as well. Definitely recommend if you are after Indian food in the area.

AVOID AT ALL COSTS!!! ZERO SAFETY! If you value your life, health & safety, do not step into this place! All the fancy decor will not cover the utter disregard for basic hygiene and quality control of the food you are serving for your guests. As you can see in the attached picture, along with our Biryani we were served with a free topping in the form of a STAPLER PIN and we had to remove it from the mouth. Luckily, it didn't cause much harm that night, but when we reported them to the local staff on how such a dangerous piece of metal can enter the kitchen, let alone the customer's plate, we were quite appalled by the first reactions we received and they had no clue whatsoever. Had a tough time deciding which one was worse, whether their lack of basic hygiene measures in the kitchen or the empathy towards the guests. After the disappointing scene at the restaurant, we decided to write to the owner directly, who is known for their rich gastronomic traditions, but do not have the basic courtesy to respond / acknowledge to a communication yet. Wonder, why are they in the hospitality industry in the first place. Never stepping in again and wish Google had a feature to give Zero stars rating in their reviews!

We had a lovely time at SVAAdish . The food was delicious and the service great.

Service was slow, it took more than an hour to get our main course. There was lot of shouting going around kitchen area and food was not tasty as we expected. Total disappointment.

Finally a modernised Indian kitchen in Hamburg. Definitely a better ambiance and food tastes quite aithentic with an impressive garnishing. Definitely worth trying..

Great restaurant ... the food tastes delicious. We were greeted very warmly and of course in Indian style and spent a great day here. The waiters were very friendly and always tried to fulfill our special requests. I celebrated my birthday here and I can only recommend it. I'll be back soon

I would give zero if I could. A new place with horrible service with rude and disoriented waiters and waitresses. We went twice and both times we had to wait for a long time even though there were empty tables. The restaurant should not be allowed to operate if they don't train their waiters. The beautiful decoration cannot hide unattentive and confused waiters. It is not excuse. Non white customers are ignored and rudely responded.

Firstly look and feel were good inside the restaurant. Secondly Staff were good ( initially by looking at the reviews I was expecting worst) but may be they learnt a lot already.. so I would say the service got better ;) Finally the food was not at all up to the mark which is very very sad. I felt that not like Indian but more of continental, I have precisely told the waitress to make Indian authentic style, but nevertheless received a kind of Germanized food. I would go back only if they promise to improve the food.
